Which battery does a JAC A13 take?
A JAC A13 typically takes a maintenance-free flooded battery, in the range DIN 60 – DIN 80 / 55D23 – 80D26. The A13 takes a sealed maintenance-free battery. In Gulf heat the things that matter are the correct case size, enough capacity for the AC and accessories, and a recent manufacture date.
Can you replace a A13 battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the A13 need battery registration?
No. The A13 does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a A13 battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
My JAC JS4 clicks rapidly and will not start. What is wrong?
Rapid clicking is the starter relay dropping out because voltage is too low, which nearly always means a weak battery. We test it at the car. If a jump start works and the battery then fails a load test, it needs replacing.
