What emergency fuel delivery covers

  • Petrol or diesel carried in a sealed fuel can

  • Correct grade confirmed before the driver leaves

  • Fuel poured into the tank at the roadside

  • Help restarting the engine after refuelling

  • Priming of the diesel system where needed

  • Jump start if cranking has drained the battery

What Gulf conditions change

  • Running low is harder on a car here than most drivers expect. The electric fuel pump sits inside the tank and relies on the fuel around it for cooling, so driving on the last few litres in summer heat shortens its life. UAE stations sell E-Plus 91, Special 95 and Super 98 petrol, plus diesel. The grade for your car is on the fuel flap.

Signs you need emergency fuel delivery

  • The engine sputtered, lost power and cut out with the fuel light on.

  • The range display reads zero and the nearest station is too far to risk.

  • The engine cranks normally but will not fire, and the gauge sits on empty.

  • The needle is below reserve and you are stopped on a highway shoulder.

How it works, step by step

  1. Share your live location

Send a WhatsApp location pin or call, with the car make and model and whether it takes petrol or diesel. Say if you are on a highway shoulder so the driver knows.

  2. Grade and estimate confirmed

The team confirms the fuel grade for your car and gives an arrival estimate based on your location and traffic. On a fast road, wait outside the car and behind the barrier.

  3. Fuel goes in

The driver adds enough fuel to get you to a station. A petrol engine normally restarts after a few seconds of cranking while the pump refills the fuel line.

  4. Restart and drive on

Once the engine runs smoothly you drive to the nearest station and fill up properly. If the car still does not start, the fault is something else and recovery can be arranged.

Emergency Fuel Delivery: questions

All questions and answers
Which petrol grade will you bring?

The one your car is specified for. UAE stations sell E-Plus 91, Special 95 and Super 98. Many everyday cars are fine on Special 95, while turbocharged and performance engines often need Super 98. The required grade is printed inside the fuel flap or in the manual, and we confirm it with you before leaving.

My diesel ran dry. Will it start after refuelling?

Not always straight away. When a diesel runs dry, air enters the fuel lines and the system may need priming or bleeding before the engine will fire. Many newer diesels prime themselves when the ignition is cycled a few times; older ones need it done by hand. Tell us it is a diesel so the driver comes prepared.

Is it safe to wait in the car on the highway?

On a fast road, no. Switch on the hazard lights, place the warning triangle behind the car if you can do so safely, and wait behind the barrier away from traffic. In a car park or a quiet street, staying with the car is fine. Keep your phone on so the driver can reach you.

How much fuel do you deliver, and what does it cost?

Enough to restart the car and reach a station comfortably, not a full tank. The charge depends on your location, the time, and the fuel type and quantity. You are given the figure when you call, before the driver sets out. Payment is by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.
