Signs you need car towing service

  • The engine overheated or lost oil pressure and should not be restarted.

  • The gearbox will not engage any gear, or the car is stuck in park.

  • An accident has left a wheel, the steering or the suspension damaged.

  • A warning says stop the vehicle, or the car will not start after a jump.

What Gulf conditions change

  • Dubai has its own towing practicalities. After an accident, a police report is needed before a garage can repair the car, so get it through the Dubai Police app or from a patrol first. Many tower basements have low ceilings that a flatbed cannot enter, so the car may have to be moved to the ramp or street level for loading.

How it works, step by step

  1. Send location and destination

Call or share a WhatsApp pin with the car model, the fault and where the car should go. Mention low ground clearance, a locked gearbox or basement parking.

  2. Truck is dispatched

The team confirms the truck type and an arrival estimate. Keep the key with the car, and have the registration card ready if it is going to a workshop.

  3. Loading the car

The driver lines up the flatbed, winches the car on if it cannot move under its own power, and straps each wheel. Loose items inside should be removed beforehand.

  4. Delivery and handover

The car is unloaded at the destination. If it is going to a garage after hours, tell us in advance so someone is there to receive it and take the key.

Car Towing Service: questions

All questions and answers
Why a flatbed and not a tow with two wheels on the road?

A flatbed carries the whole car, so nothing turns while it travels. All-wheel-drive cars, many automatics and electric vehicles can suffer drivetrain damage if towed with driven wheels on the road. Low cars and cars with damaged wheels also load more safely on a tilting bed with a winch.

Can you tow a car from a basement car park?

It depends on the ceiling height and the ramp. Most flatbeds are too tall for residential basements. If the car rolls, it can be pushed or pulled to street level and loaded there. If the wheels are locked, tell us before dispatch so the driver brings the right equipment for the job.

My car is stuck in park with a dead battery. Can it be moved?

Usually. Most automatics have a manual shift-lock release, and its location varies by model. Cars with an electronic parking brake need power to release it, so a jump pack is often connected first. Give the model and year when you call so the driver knows what to expect.

How is the towing charge worked out?

By the distance between pickup and drop-off, the time of day, and how difficult the loading is, for example a car without keys, with locked wheels or in a tight basement. You are told the charge before the truck leaves. Nothing is added afterwards unless the destination changes.
