What Gulf conditions change

  • Summer road surfaces in the UAE get far hotter than the air, and an under-inflated tyre flexes more, heats up and can fail suddenly at highway speed. Low pressure and old rubber are the usual background to a summer blowout. Checking pressures monthly when the tyres are cold, including the spare, prevents many roadside stops.

Signs you need flat tyre fix

  • The tyre pressure warning comes on and the car starts pulling to one side.

  • You return to the parked car and one tyre is sitting flat on the rim.

  • A loud bang or flapping noise on the highway followed by heavy steering.

  • There is a nail or screw in the tread and the tyre keeps losing air.

What flat tyre fix covers

  • Spare wheel fitted using proper jack and tools

  • Slow leaks inflated to the correct pressure

  • Temporary plug for small tread punctures

  • Spare tyre pressure checked before fitting

  • Wheel nuts tightened to the correct torque

  • Tow arranged if the tyre cannot be saved

How it works, step by step

  1. Stop somewhere safe

Move onto the hard shoulder or a parking area, switch on the hazard lights and keep away from traffic. Driving on a flat ruins the tyre and can damage the rim.

  2. Send location and details

Share your live location on WhatsApp or call. Tell us the car, which tyre is flat, whether you have a spare and whether the car has locking wheel nuts.

  3. Technician comes to you

The arrival estimate is confirmed before dispatch. On site the technician checks the damage and decides between fitting the spare, inflating the tyre or a temporary plug.

  4. Drive on, repair later

Once the car is rolling again you are told the safe speed and distance for the spare or temporary fix, and where the tyre can be properly repaired or replaced.

Flat Tyre Fix: questions

All questions and answers
My car has no spare wheel. Can you still help?

Yes. Many newer cars carry a sealant kit or run-flat tyres instead of a spare. If the puncture is small and in the tread, a temporary plug and inflation may get you going. If the sidewall is cut or the tyre is shredded, we arrange a tow to a tyre shop.

How far can I drive on a space-saver spare?

A space-saver is for getting to a tyre shop, not for daily use. The speed limit is printed on the wheel, commonly 80 km/h, and the distance should be kept short. Handling and braking change with a narrow spare fitted, so drive gently and have the main tyre sorted the same day if possible.

Is a roadside plug a permanent repair?

No. A plug pushed in from the outside is a temporary fix so you can drive off the road. A proper repair is done from inside the tyre at a workshop, after the tyre is removed and inspected. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder cannot be repaired at all.

What does a flat tyre callout cost?

It depends on your location, the time, and what is needed: fitting your spare, inflating, a temporary plug or a tow. We tell you the charge on the phone or WhatsApp before the technician is dispatched, so you can decide before anyone sets off.
