Emergency and availability
Can I get a car battery replaced in Dubai after midnight?
Yes. Car battery replacement in Dubai is available 24/7, including after midnight. Send your location and vehicle details on WhatsApp or call us, and we confirm technician availability, a suitable battery for your car and the estimated arrival time before anyone is dispatched.
Do you work on weekends and public holidays?
Yes. The service runs every day of the year, including weekends, Eid and other public holidays. What is available at a given moment depends on the technicians on shift and the battery your car needs, so we confirm both when you contact us.
Do you cover Abu Dhabi and Sharjah as well as Dubai?
Yes. Alongside Dubai, we serve Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Coverage inside each emirate depends on the area and the time of day, so send your location pin. We confirm whether a technician can reach you and give an arrival estimate before dispatch.
How do I check whether emergency battery replacement is available near me?
Send your location pin on WhatsApp, or call and tell us the area and building name. We check technician availability for that spot and whether a suitable battery is on hand, then reply with a clear yes or no and an arrival estimate.
What information should I send when I contact you?
Send your location pin, the car make, model and year, and a short description of what the car is doing. Add parking access details such as the building, level and bay number. A photo of the battery, if you can take one, helps us confirm the size and type.
Arrival and access
How quickly can a technician reach me?
It depends on your location, traffic, technician availability and the battery your car requires. We do not quote a fixed time in advance. Once we have your pin and car details, we give you an estimated arrival time before dispatch.
Can you replace a battery in underground parking?
Yes, in accessible underground parking. Send the building name, parking level, bay number and any security or vehicle-access restrictions, such as a height limit or visitor registration. With those details the technician can reach the car without being held up at the gate.
Can you come to a mall car park?
Yes. Tell us the mall, the parking zone or colour, the level and the nearest entrance or pillar number. Stay near the car or reachable by phone, because the technician needs you to unlock it and may need help finding it among the rows.
Do I need to be with the car when the technician arrives?
Someone with the key needs to be there. The technician has to open the bonnet or boot, start the car after fitting and show the test readings. If you cannot be present yourself, tell us in advance who will hand over the key.
Can you help if my car stops on the roadside or a highway?
Yes, where it is safe to stop and work. Switch on the hazard lights, stay clear of traffic and share your pin with the direction you were travelling. If the position is unsafe for work at the car, towing it to a safer spot may be the better first step.
Testing, jump start or replacement
Can you jump-start my car instead of replacing the battery?
It depends on the battery's condition. If it was drained by lights left on or a long time parked, a jump start and a proper recharge are often enough. If it fails the test or will not hold charge, replacement is the fix. We test first and explain which applies.
Do you test the battery before selling me a new one?
Yes. Every visit starts with a test of resting voltage, performance under load and charging voltage. A car that will not start does not always need a new battery, so nothing is sold until the readings show the battery has failed.
What if the battery is not the problem?
Then we tell you and do not fit one. Loose or corroded terminals can sometimes be sorted at the car. An alternator that is not charging, a worn starter or an electrical drain needs a workshop, and we explain what the readings showed so the garage knows where to look.
My car was parked for weeks and will not start. Does it need a new battery?
Not necessarily. A parked car still draws a small current, and heat speeds up self-discharge, so a few weeks in a UAE summer can flatten a healthy battery. A jump start and a full recharge may bring it back. If it sat deeply discharged for long, the damage can be permanent, and the test shows which.
How can I tell a battery fault from an alternator fault?
Rapid clicking and dim lights when you try to start usually mean a weak battery. A single heavy click points to the starter. If the car dies while driving, or the battery light comes on with the engine running, suspect the alternator. Measuring the charging voltage with the engine running settles it.
Batteries, fitment and warranty
How long does a car battery last in the UAE?
Often around two years, though it varies with the car and how it is used. In temperate climates batteries last roughly 3 to 5 years, but Gulf heat speeds up the chemistry inside and the rate of self-discharge. Short trips, long periods parked and heavy electrical loads shorten it further.
What is the difference between an AGM battery and a normal battery?
An AGM battery holds its electrolyte in glass mat instead of free liquid, so it is sealed, copes with repeated cycling and recharges faster. A normal flooded battery suits cars without start-stop. Start-stop cars with regenerative braking and most premium cars need AGM, and a car that came with AGM must get AGM.
Does my car need battery registration?
It might. BMW, Mini, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover, Volvo and many newer Ford and Mercedes-Benz models monitor the battery and need the new one registered or the monitoring reset. Otherwise charging stays tuned to the old battery and life shortens. It varies by model and year, so we check before dispatch.
What warranty comes with a new battery?
New batteries come with a warranty of up to 24 months. The exact period depends on the battery brand and type, and we tell you which one applies before the battery is fitted. Keep your invoice with the fitting date for any warranty claim.
Do you work on hybrids and electric cars?
Yes, for the low-voltage battery. Hybrids and EVs have a small battery that powers the computers and locks, and it is a common reason the car will not wake up. We test, support or replace that battery. We do not work on the high-voltage traction battery, and fitment varies by model.
Payment and practical details
How can I pay?
You can pay by cash or card, or split the payment with Tabby or Tamara. Payment is made at the car once the work is done. Tell us your preferred method when you contact us so the technician arrives ready for it.
Do delivery and fitting cost extra?
No. Delivery to your location and fitting at the car are free with a battery purchase. The technician brings the battery, tests the old one, fits the new one and checks the charging voltage, all in the same visit.
What happens to my old battery?
We take it away for recycling. Car batteries contain lead and acid, which must not go into general waste, and most of a lead-acid battery can be recovered and reused. You do not need to arrange disposal yourself.
Will I lose my radio presets or settings during the replacement?
Usually not. Where the car needs it, the technician connects a memory saver that keeps the electronics powered while the battery is out, so radio presets, the clock and window settings stay in place. On some cars a few functions still need a quick reset afterwards.
How do I know which battery my car needs?
You do not have to work it out. Send the make, model and year and we match the size standard, capacity, terminal layout and technology. Japanese and Korean cars mostly use JIS sizes, European cars DIN sizes and American cars BCI group sizes. A photo of the current battery label helps.
