Which battery does a JAC E40X take?
A JAC E40X typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range DIN 70 – DIN 100 / 80D26 – 105D31. Most E40X cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a E40X battery where it is parked?

Does the E40X need battery registration?
No. The E40X does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a E40X battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
My JAC JS4 clicks rapidly and will not start. What is wrong?
Rapid clicking is the starter relay dropping out because voltage is too low, which nearly always means a weak battery. We test it at the car. If a jump start works and the battery then fails a load test, it needs replacing.
