What happens when you try to start: clicking, nothing at all, or a slow crank
What to know about Maxus batteries
Many starts, little charging
A van on multi-drop routes restarts constantly and rarely runs long enough to replace what each start takes. Batteries on these vehicles are usually undercharged, which a voltage check at the depot reveals early.
Diesel T60 and vans
Diesel Maxus engines need a battery with a high cranking rating. A lower-rated unit turns the engine slowly and fails early. We match cranking amps to the engine and not only the case size.
How we replace a Territory battery
You know the battery, the arrival estimate and what is included before a technician leaves for your car.
Send your location
Call or WhatsApp your location pin, the car make, model and year, and where it is parked.
We confirm before dispatch
You hear which battery fits, whether registration is part of the job and the estimated arrival time.
Tested at the car
The technician checks the battery and the charging system and tells you what the readings mean.
Started or replaced
A jump start if that is enough. If not, the new battery goes in, the old one leaves with us and you pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.
Maxus Territory battery questions
Which battery does a Maxus Territory take?
A Maxus Territory typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range DIN 70 – DIN 100 / 80D26 – 105D31. Most Territory cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a Territory battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the Territory need battery registration?
No. The Territory does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a Territory battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Is Maxus the same as LDV?
Yes. SAIC sells the same vehicles as Maxus in the Gulf and as LDV in some other markets. If you find battery information listed under LDV, it may apply, but we still confirm against your model year before dispatch.
