AGM is the factory fit
Nearly every Mercedes-Benz built with ECO start-stop left the factory with an AGM battery, commonly 70, 80 or 95 Ah in DIN sizes H6 to H8. Fitting a flooded battery in its place leads to early failure and start-stop faults, so we replace AGM with AGM.
48V mild hybrids (EQ Boost)
Newer six-cylinder and some four-cylinder models add a 48V lithium battery and an integrated starter-generator. That 48V unit is a dealer item. The car still has a 12V battery for its control units and locks, and that is the one we test and replace.
Does the C-Class need battery registration?
Mercedes-Benz requirements vary. Many models adapt on their own to a like-for-like battery, while some newer ones need a reset with a diagnostic tool. We check your model and confirm before dispatch whether registration is included.

Which battery does a Mercedes-Benz C-Class take?
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class usually takes an AGM battery, most often DIN 70 AGM (H6, 70 Ah). This is the fitment most C-Class cars in the Gulf leave the factory with. Engine and model year can change it, so we match it to the label on your current battery before dispatch.
Can you replace a C-Class battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the C-Class need battery registration?
It depends on the year and specification. Versions with a battery sensor or start-stop need the new battery registered or the monitoring reset. Tell us the model year and we confirm before dispatch whether it applies and whether it is included.
How long does a C-Class battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Can you replace the battery on a GLE or GLS in a basement car park?
Yes. On the ML, GL and earlier GLE and GLS models the battery sits under the front passenger seat, so the job is done from inside the cabin and needs no lift. Send the parking level and bay number on WhatsApp and the technician comes straight to the car.
