A guide based on common Gulf-spec fitment. The label on your current battery is the final word, and we check it with you before dispatch.
A note on the Pajero
Most petrol V6 cars in the Gulf take the 80D26L. Diesel versions use a larger case.

What to know about Mitsubishi batteries
Small batteries in Attrage and Mirage
The 1.2-litre Attrage and Mirage use a compact NS40-class battery. It suits the small engine but has little spare capacity for long waits with the blower, lights and phone chargers running while the engine is off, which is common in delivery and rental use.
D23 and D26 cases look alike
Lancer, ASX and Outlander generally take a D23 case, while Pajero uses the longer D26. The two are easy to confuse by eye. A battery that is too short moves in the tray and one that is too long will not clamp, so we measure against the model first.

Mitsubishi Pajero battery questions
Which battery does a Mitsubishi Pajero take?
The Mitsubishi Pajero usually takes a maintenance-free flooded battery, most often 80D26L (70 Ah). This is the fitment most Pajero cars in the Gulf leave the factory with. Engine and model year can change it, so we match it to the label on your current battery before dispatch.
Can you replace a Pajero battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the Pajero need battery registration?
No. The Pajero does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a Pajero battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Which battery does a Mitsubishi Attrage use?
The Attrage takes a small NS40-class battery of about 35 Ah. It is light and quick to change, and the job is usually done where the car is parked. Because the capacity is low, we also look for lights or accessories that drain it while the car stands.
