What to know about Nissan batteries
Small cases on Sunny and Micra
Sunny, Micra and similar small Nissans use compact NS40-class batteries of roughly 35 Ah. There is little reserve, so a door left ajar or parking lights left on overnight can flatten one. A jump start usually recovers it if the battery is still healthy.
Variable charging on newer Nissans
Many recent Nissans have a current sensor on the negative battery cable and vary the alternator output to save fuel. A reading near 13 V at idle can be normal. We test charging under load before blaming the alternator, and the sensor must be reconnected properly after a battery change.
How we replace a Rogue battery
You know the battery, the arrival estimate and what is included before a technician leaves for your car.
Send your location
Call or WhatsApp your location pin, the car make, model and year, and where it is parked.
We confirm before dispatch
You hear which battery fits, whether registration is part of the job and the estimated arrival time.
Tested at the car
The technician checks the battery and the charging system and tells you what the readings mean.
Started or replaced
A jump start if that is enough. If not, the new battery goes in, the old one leaves with us and you pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.
Nissan Rogue battery questions
Which battery does a Nissan Rogue take?
A Nissan Rogue typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range 80D26 – 105D31 (70–90 Ah). Most Rogue cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a Rogue battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the Rogue need battery registration?
No. The Rogue does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a Rogue battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
What battery fits a Nissan Patrol?
It depends on the generation. Patrol Safari and V6 models commonly use an 80D26L, while many 5.6 V8 cars carry a longer 95D31L with more capacity. Send the year and trim, or a photo of the label on the current battery, and we bring the matching case.
