Gulf-spec Toyotas mostly use JIS cases such as NS40, 55D23L and 80D26L. Several models on newer platforms have moved to DIN-style LN cases with recessed terminals. The two types do not interchange, so we check the model year and the battery tray before sending a battery.

A Toyota T100 typically takes a maintenance-free flooded battery, in the range 80D26 – 105D31 (70–90 Ah). The T100 takes a sealed maintenance-free battery. In Gulf heat the things that matter are the correct case size, enough capacity for the AC and accessories, and a recent manufacture date.
Can you replace a T100 battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the T100 need battery registration?
No. The T100 does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a T100 battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Can you replace a Toyota battery in a basement car park?
Yes. The technician carries the battery and tools to the car, so basement and mall parking is fine. Tell us the level and bay number when you send your location. For a Land Cruiser or Hilux we bring the larger case, and the old battery is taken away for recycling.
