What to send us for a VinFast VF9
Your location pin, with building name and parking level if it is in a basement

A photo of the label on the battery now in the car
What happens when you try to start: clicking, nothing at all, or a slow crank
What to know about VinFast batteries
12 V battery still matters
A VinFast SUV needs its 12 V battery to unlock, boot its screens and connect the drive battery. If the car is dark and unresponsive after standing, the small battery is the first suspect.
We confirm before dispatch
Battery type and position differ across the VF range and we will not guess. Send the model and year, and a photo of the 12 V battery label if you can reach it.
Does the VF9 need battery registration?
These cars are under manufacturer warranty and monitor the 12 V system through software. We advise checking warranty terms first, and we confirm whether a reset is needed for your model.
How we replace a VF9 battery
You know the battery, the arrival estimate and what is included before a technician leaves for your car.
Send your location
Call or WhatsApp your location pin, the car make, model and year, and where it is parked.
We confirm before dispatch
You hear which battery fits, whether registration is part of the job and the estimated arrival time.
Tested at the car
The technician checks the battery and the charging system and tells you what the readings mean.
Started or replaced
A jump start if that is enough. If not, the new battery goes in, the old one leaves with us and you pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.
VinFast VF9 battery questions
Which battery does a VinFast VF9 take?
A VinFast VF9 typically takes a 12V lithium or auxiliary or AGM battery. The VF9 runs its locks, screens and computers from a small low-voltage battery that is separate from the drive battery. Its type depends on the build year, so we confirm it from your VIN or a photo before sending a technician.
Can you replace a VF9 battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the VF9 need battery registration?
It depends on the year and specification. Versions with a battery sensor or start-stop need the new battery registered or the monitoring reset. Tell us the model year and we confirm before dispatch whether it applies and whether it is included.
How long does a VF9 battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Does heat affect the small battery in an electric VinFast?
Yes. Heat ages a 12 V battery in an EV the same way it does in a petrol car. Parking in shade or a basement helps. A yearly test before summer is a sensible habit for any car here.
