What Gulf conditions change
Brake wear in the UAE is driven by weight, speed and dust. Heavy SUVs braking from highway speeds run hot, fine sand works its way between pad and disc, and coastal humidity lets brake fluid absorb moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point. Having the pads looked at with every service catches wear before the discs suffer.
Signs you need brake pad replacement
A high-pitched squeal every time you press the brake pedal lightly.
Grinding or scraping, which means the pad material is gone and metal touches the disc.
A brake pad warning light on the dashboard, common on European cars.
The car takes longer to stop or the pedal travels further than before.
What brake pad replacement covers
Front or rear brake pads replaced as a set
Disc thickness and surface measured against the minimum
Wear sensors replaced where the car uses them
Caliper slide pins cleaned and lubricated
Brake fluid level and condition checked
Test drive and pedal feel check
How it works, step by step
Send car and symptoms
Tell us the make, model and year, which noise or warning you have, and where the car is parked. Pads differ by trim and brake size, so the details matter.
Parts confirmed, time agreed
We confirm the right pads and any sensors for your car, then agree a visit time or a workshop slot. The arrival estimate is confirmed before the technician sets off.
Pads changed, discs measured
Wheels come off one axle at a time. The discs are measured, slide pins cleaned and new pads fitted. Cars with an electronic parking brake go into service mode first.
Test and handover
The pedal is pumped to seat the pads, then the car is test driven. You see the old pads and the disc readings, and get advice on bedding in the new set.
What customers say on Google

Layla H.Dubai Marina · Nissan PatrolCar was dead on P2 of my building at 1 am. I sent the tower name and parking level, they told me which battery the Patrol takes and when the technician would get there. He tested it first, showed me the reading, then fitted the new one.
Rahul M.Jumeirah Lakes Towers · Toyota CamryI was sure I needed a new battery. The technician jump-started the car, tested the battery and the alternator and said the battery was still fine, I had just left the lights on. Did not try to sell me anything.
Mei L.Business Bay · BMW X3They asked for the model year before coming and told me the X3 needs an AGM battery and registration. Both were done in the basement of my office. Paid with Tabby.
Kwame A.Al Nahda, Sharjah · Kia SportageTook a bit longer than the first estimate because of traffic on Al Ittihad Road, but they called to say so. Battery was changed in the sandy lot behind my building and the old one was taken away.
Omar K.Mirdif · Lexus ESFriday morning, public holiday, and someone answered on the second ring. Battery was fitted outside my villa before the family was ready to leave. Warranty is written on the invoice.
Noura S.Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi · Mercedes-Benz GLEThe dash was showing an auxiliary battery message. They explained on WhatsApp what it meant before sending anyone, which saved me a trip to the dealer.
Brake Pad Replacement: questions
Can brake pads really be changed at my home or office?
Yes, in most cases. The technician needs level, firm ground and enough room to remove the wheels safely. Some buildings do not allow mechanical work in the parking area, so check with security first. If the discs turn out to need machining or the calipers are seized, the car goes to a workshop.
Do the discs have to be replaced with the pads?
Not always. Each disc has a minimum thickness stamped on it or listed by the maker. If the disc is above that figure and the surface is smooth, new pads alone are fine. Discs that are below the minimum, deeply grooved or causing vibration under braking should be replaced with the pads.
Should front and rear pads be changed together?
They wear at different rates, so not necessarily. Front pads usually do more of the braking and wear sooner, though some cars with stability systems use the rear brakes heavily. Pads are always changed in pairs across one axle, and we measure both axles so you know what is left.
What affects the cost of brake pad replacement?
The cost depends on the car, the pad type, whether one axle or both are done, and whether sensors or discs are needed as well. Performance and large SUV brakes cost more than small-car parts. You get a quote after the car details are confirmed and before any work starts.
