When voltage falls, a Cadillac shows Battery Saver Active and starts switching off heated seats, climate fans and other comfort loads. It is an early warning. Have the battery and charging system tested soon instead of waiting for a no-start.
Boot-mounted batteries on saloons
ATS, CTS and CT6 have the battery in the boot, behind or under the trim on one side. To jump-start, use the positive terminal and earth point under the bonnet. Replacement takes longer than on a car with the battery up front.

Which battery does a Cadillac ATS take?
The Cadillac ATS usually takes an AGM battery, most often Group 48 AGM (H6, 70 Ah). This is the fitment most ATS cars in the Gulf leave the factory with. Engine and model year can change it, so we match it to the label on your current battery before dispatch.
Can you replace a ATS battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the ATS need battery registration?
No. The ATS does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a ATS battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Can you replace a Cadillac battery at a hotel or mall valet?
Yes. Send the location pin and the valet desk contact, and ask them to bring the car to an accessible bay if possible. The technician tests the battery there and replaces it if needed. Payment can be made by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.
