Which battery does a Foton MPX take?
A Foton MPX typically takes a maintenance-free flooded battery, in the range DIN 70 – DIN 100 / 80D26 – 105D31. The MPX takes a sealed maintenance-free battery. In Gulf heat the things that matter are the correct case size, enough capacity for the AC and accessories, and a recent manufacture date.
Can you replace a MPX battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the MPX need battery registration?
No. The MPX does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a MPX battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
What battery does a Foton Tunland take?
It varies by generation and engine. Diesel Tunlands need a battery with strong cranking current. Give us the year, or the code printed on the existing battery, and we bring a unit of the same size and terminal layout.
