Accessories on the T1 and T2
Light bars, fridges, air compressors and dash cams are common additions to the T2 and T1. Wired to stay live with the ignition off, they can flatten a healthy battery in a day or two at camp. If a new battery keeps going flat, the accessory wiring is the first thing to check.
Start-stop varies by trim
Some Jetour turbo models have start-stop and some do not, depending on engine, year and trim. Cars with it need EFB or AGM. Tell us if the engine cuts out at traffic lights, or send the battery label, and we bring the right technology.

Which battery does a Jetour L9 take?
A Jetour L9 typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range DIN 70 – DIN 100 (L3–L5). Most L9 cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a L9 battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the L9 need battery registration?
No. The L9 does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a L9 battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
What battery does a Jetour T2 use?
The petrol T2 uses a DIN-case 12V battery under the bonnet. We do not quote a size from memory for this model because capacity and technology differ by trim and year. Send a clear photo of the label and we match amp-hours, cranking rating and terminal position before the technician leaves.
