AGM is the factory fit
Nearly every Mercedes-Benz built with ECO start-stop left the factory with an AGM battery, commonly 70, 80 or 95 Ah in DIN sizes H6 to H8. Fitting a flooded battery in its place leads to early failure and start-stop faults, so we replace AGM with AGM.
48V mild hybrids (EQ Boost)
Newer six-cylinder and some four-cylinder models add a 48V lithium battery and an integrated starter-generator. That 48V unit is a dealer item. The car still has a 12V battery for its control units and locks, and that is the one we test and replace.
Does the EQS SUV need battery registration?
Mercedes-Benz requirements vary. Many models adapt on their own to a like-for-like battery, while some newer ones need a reset with a diagnostic tool. We check your model and confirm before dispatch whether registration is included.
