The 1.2-litre Attrage and Mirage use a compact NS40-class battery. It suits the small engine but has little spare capacity for long waits with the blower, lights and phone chargers running while the engine is off, which is common in delivery and rental use.
D23 and D26 cases look alike
Lancer, ASX and Outlander generally take a D23 case, while Pajero uses the longer D26. The two are easy to confuse by eye. A battery that is too short moves in the tray and one that is too long will not clamp, so we measure against the model first.

In Gulf heat the things that matter are the correct case size, enough capacity for the AC and accessories, and a recent manufacture date.
Can you replace a Strada battery where it is parked?

Does the Strada need battery registration?
No. The Strada does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
