A Seres that will not start gets the same routine as any other car: test first, jump-start if the battery can take it, replace if it cannot. Because Seres parts are less common in the UAE, we check the battery size with you before dispatch.
Choose your Seres to see the battery type and size it usually takes.
Most Chinese-built cars use DIN cases. Recent turbo models with start-stop need EFB or AGM, and plug-in or electric versions carry a small 12V auxiliary battery of their own type.
For a Seres we go by three things on the old battery: the size code, the capacity in Ah and which side the positive terminal is on. A clear photo of the label is enough.
A car that will not start does not always need a new battery. The technician tests first, then does the smallest job that gets you moving.
When it fits: The battery fails the test, will not hold charge, or is swollen or leaking.
When it fits: Lights were left on or the car sat for days, and the battery is otherwise healthy.
When it fits: Slow cranking, a warning light, or a battery that keeps going flat.
Less common makes are often second cars or imports that sit for days between drives. Parked in summer heat, a battery loses charge faster, which is why these cars so often need a jump after a holiday.
Seres electric models still rely on a low-voltage battery to wake the car and close the main contactors. When it goes flat the car looks dead even with a full drive battery. We confirm the unit type before dispatch.

Car was dead on P2 of my building at 1 am. I sent the tower name and parking level, they told me which battery the Patrol takes and when the technician would get there. He tested it first, showed me the reading, then fitted the new one.
I was sure I needed a new battery. The technician jump-started the car, tested the battery and the alternator and said the battery was still fine, I had just left the lights on. Did not try to sell me anything.
They asked for the model year before coming and told me the X3 needs an AGM battery and registration. Both were done in the basement of my office. Paid with Tabby.
Took a bit longer than the first estimate because of traffic on Al Ittihad Road, but they called to say so. Battery was changed in the sandy lot behind my building and the old one was taken away.
Friday morning, public holiday, and someone answered on the second ring. Battery was fitted outside my villa before the family was ready to leave. Warranty is written on the invoice.
The dash was showing an auxiliary battery message. They explained on WhatsApp what it meant before sending anyone, which saved me a trip to the dealer.
You know the battery, the arrival estimate and what is included before a technician leaves for your car.
Call or WhatsApp your location pin, the car make, model and year, and where it is parked.
You hear which battery fits, whether registration is part of the job and the estimated arrival time.
The technician checks the battery and the charging system and tells you what the readings mean.
A jump start if that is enough. If not, the new battery goes in, the old one leaves with us and you pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.
Chosen for the case sizes and technology this make uses. Stock is confirmed when you call.
Often yes, because most Seres models share case sizes with common cars. Send the model, year and a photo of the battery label and we confirm stock and an arrival estimate before anyone is dispatched.
If the battery still holds charge, yes. The technician tests it first, starts the car, then checks that the alternator is charging. If the battery fails the test we explain why before fitting anything.
Up to 24 months, depending on the battery chosen. The exact term is confirmed when you order and written on the invoice the technician hands over.
Send your location, the Seres model and its year. We confirm the battery that fits and the estimated arrival time.
