What to know about Soueast batteries
S09 carries more load
The seven-seat S09 has a larger engine, rear climate and more powered features than the S06 and S07. Its battery works harder, especially on school runs with the AC at full.
S06 DM plug-in hybrid
The S06 DM drives on a high-voltage pack and a petrol engine. Its 12V battery only runs the control electronics, and the type fitted may differ from the petrol S06. We confirm before dispatch.

Which battery does a Soueast V3 take?
A Soueast V3 typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range DIN 60 – DIN 80 (L2–L4). Most V3 cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a V3 battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the V3 need battery registration?
No. The V3 does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a V3 battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
