Porsche battery replacement in Dubai, 24/7

Porsche battery replacement in Dubai starts with getting to the battery. On a 911, Boxster or Cayman it sits under the front lid, which stays locked when the battery is completely flat. Our technicians carry what is needed to power the lid release, test the battery, then jump-start the car or replace the battery where it stands, 24/7.

Porsche battery sizes by model

Typical Gulf-spec fitment for the Porsche models we see most. Engine and model year can change it, so we match the label on your current battery before dispatch.

Battery registration on Porsche

  • Cayenne, Macan, Panamera and recent 911 and 718 models need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool so the energy management resets. Older sports cars do not. Whether registration is included is confirmed before we dispatch.

What is different about Porsche batteries

  • Front lid and a flat battery

The front lid on the 911, Boxster and Cayman opens electrically. On many model years, power can be fed to a pull-out terminal in the fuse box by the driver's footwell, which lets the lid latch release. Only then can the battery under the lid be reached.

  • Cayenne, Macan and Panamera locations

The Macan and Panamera carry the battery under the boot floor. Earlier Cayenne generations place it under the front left seat. All three have jump-start points under the bonnet, so a boost is quick even when the battery itself takes time to reach.

  • Lithium 12V starter batteries

Some newer Porsches, including the Cayenne from 2019 and certain 911 variants, use a 12V lithium-ion starter battery that communicates with the car over a data line. It cannot be swapped for an AGM battery. We check the battery type before dispatch.

  • AGM on the rest

Other Porsches with auto start-stop use AGM batteries, typically 80 to 95 Ah in H7 or H8 cases. Because many of these cars are stored for long periods, a full recharge and a retest are worth doing before deciding the battery is finished.

How a Porsche battery replacement works

You know the battery, the arrival estimate and what is included before a technician leaves for your car.

  1. Send your location

Call or WhatsApp your location pin, the car make, model and year, and where it is parked.

  2. We confirm before dispatch

You hear which battery fits, whether registration is part of the job and the estimated arrival time.

  3. Tested at the car

The technician checks the battery and the charging system and tells you what the readings mean.

  4. Started or replaced

A jump start if that is enough. If not, the new battery goes in, the old one leaves with us and you pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.

Porsche in the UAE: what wears the battery

Many Porsches in the UAE are driven on weekends and parked for the rest of the week, and some stay in a garage all summer while the owner travels. The alarm, tracker and control units keep drawing current the whole time. A sports car left for a month without a maintainer often needs a jump start.

The Taycan and the Cayenne and Panamera E-Hybrid models are sold in the UAE. Each has a 12V battery that wakes the car and connects the high-voltage system. If it is flat, the doors may not even unlock electrically. We test it on site.

Porsche battery questions

All questions and answers
How do you open a 911 front lid with a dead battery?

On many model years the fuse box in the driver's footwell has a pull-out positive terminal for this. A jump pack is connected there and to an earth point such as the door striker, which gives the lid latch enough power to release. Then the battery can be tested or replaced.

Can I replace my Porsche lithium battery with an AGM one?

Not on cars built with the lithium starter battery. The car expects the battery to communicate with it, and an AGM battery triggers warnings and a restricted power mode. Like-for-like replacement is the rule. Tell us the model year and we confirm what is fitted before sending anyone.

Why does my Porsche battery go flat when I travel?

A parked Porsche still powers its alarm, tracking and keyless systems. Over several weeks that can drain a healthy battery, faster in a hot garage. A mains battery maintainer prevents it. If the car is already flat, we jump-start it and test whether the battery has recovered.

Does a Macan battery replacement need coding?

The Macan monitors its battery, so the replacement is registered with a diagnostic tool after fitting. The battery sits under the boot floor and is an AGM type in the H8 case on most engines. We confirm the exact size and whether registration is included before dispatch.
