Volkswagen sizes fit
Because the mechanical parts are shared, a Seat takes the same DIN battery sizes as the equivalent Volkswagen. Parts for the brand may be scarce locally, but the correct battery is not.
Check the start-stop label
Later Leon, Ateca and Arona models have start-stop and carry an EFB or AGM battery. Earlier cars use a standard flooded type. The label on the old battery settles which one yours needs.

My Seat Ibiza clicks rapidly but will not start. Is it the battery?
Rapid clicking usually means the battery is too weak to turn the starter. A jump start often gets you moving. We then test the battery, because one that has gone flat without an obvious cause is often near its end.
What happens to the old battery from my Seat?
We take it away for recycling when the new one is fitted. Delivery and fitting at the car are free with a battery purchase, and you can pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara once the Seat is running again.
